Russia can currently fire 77 ballistic missiles simultaneously and plans to raise that number to 200 as Ukraine faces a critical shortage of Patriot interceptors.

"Ukrainian air defense operated in July under conditions of a critical shortage of interceptor missiles to counter ballistic terror," the ministry said.

Russia could reduce the number of missiles fired at individual targets but is unlikely to halt its strikes, Major General Vadym Skibitskyi told RBC-Ukraine.
