US battery materials company Sila Nanotechnologies said on Friday it had received a conditional loan commitment of up to USD 1.4 billion (EUR 1.21bn) from the US Department of War to expand silicon-carbon (Si/C) anode production and build a lithium-ion battery cell manufacturing facility.
