During the large-scale attack on Odesa Oblast on the night of 8-9 August, Russian forces used 11 missiles of various types, most of which approached their targets on ballistic trajectories. One missile was intercepted, while another three failed to reach their targets.

Ukraine's Air Force says six Russian ballistic missiles and 151 drones were launched against Ukraine overnight, with 135 drones destroyed or jammed.

The Air Force said Russia launched six Iskander-M ballistic missiles and S-400 surface-to-air missiles overnight. No missiles were shot down.
