Cape Town Container Terminal shows improved performance – TPT

The Cape Town Container Terminal showed a 16% increase in volume-throughput in the first quarter of the 2026/27 financial year compared with the same period last year, says Transnet Port Terminals (TPT). Average truck turnaround time now stands at 39.9 minutes, with year-to-date truck turnaround times improving by 35% compared with the same period last year.
