MARA Holdings shares are sliding Friday as traders digest Q2 results and its bid to position its power footprint for Bitcoin mining and AI.

MARA's net loss widened to $611.3 million, or $1.60 per diluted share, while CleanSpark’s was $239.8 million, or $0.89 per basic share.

MARA trimmed its Bitcoin holdings 34% in the first half of 2026 to 35,577 BTC, as it reduced debt and expanded into AI infrastructure.
