Stock in Elon Musk’s space company is rising Thursday even as many SpaceX insiders were freed up to sell for the first time.

On their first earnings call since SpaceX's June public offering, executives said the company is pouring funds into rocket development, Starlink satellites and AI.

SpaceX’s Aug. 6 lock-up expiration frees 911.5 million shares, expanding the float and testing how insider selling, short interest and new supply may shape the stock’s next move.
