Tributes have poured in from the football community, including SC Villa and the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa), who praised Owori as an “inspiration leader and role model”.SC Villa and Fufa have called for urgent justice, with public anger mounting over the high level of violent crime in Kampala, following a similar fatal attack on rugby player Sydney Gongodyo weeks prior.
