Colombia's exports rose 14.2% to US$27.8 billion in the first half of 2026, DANE said, led by oil, coal and a gold surge as coffee and flowers fell.

Según el Dane, en el sexto mes del año cayeron las ventas externas de las flores y del café sin tostar.

A Universidad EAFIT study says Colombia's illegal gold moves about US$3.5 billion a year, now comparable to the country's coffee exports.
