The S&P 500 closed at a record high Tuesday, supported by strong corporate earnings, a rebound in tech shares and traders embracing hopes for progress on reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

The S&P 500 Index is up 110.78 points or 1.48% today to 7600.50

The Dow closed at a record 51,671 and the S&P 500 gained 1.65% on June 15 as US-Iran deal hopes lifted equities and nudged Bitcoin toward $67K.
