Nickolay Mladenov, the Peace Council's envoy for Gaza, held what the organization described as "constructive and detailed" talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his team on Monday as efforts continue to implement a proposed agreement aimed at disarming Hamas. In a statement issued after the meeting, the Peace Council reiterated that the objective of the initiative remains unchanged.
