Home Affairs: New online tool to speed up smart ID switch

Home Affairs Minister Dr Leon Schreiber has launched a new online platform that allows South Africans to quickly locate participating bank branches offering Smart ID Card services, as government ramps up efforts to replace the green barcoded ID book with the more secure Smart ID Card.
