Accor, InterGlobe shelve Treebo acquisition plan

Accor and budget hotel platform Treebo have called off their strategic partnership, including proposed equity investment. The France-headquartered hotel chain that has brands such as ibis, Novotel and Sofitel, among others, had announced expansion plans last April. This included a renewed partnership with InterGlobe to grow the India portfolio to 300 properties by 2030
