NEW DELHI/ CHENNAI: India’s EV market hit a new high in July with registrations across categories jumping over 66% to around 3.3 lakh units, compared with just under 2 lakh units in July 2025, amid elevated oil prices, a wider choice of models and expanding dealer networks. Last June 3.1 lakh EVs were registered across the country, according to Vahan data.
