Ms Ross, 28, from Edinburgh, was discovered by a homeless man in a derelict building in the Kypseli area of Athens on 18 July. The Hellenic Police identified Ms Ross using fingerprints and later identified the suspect through video footage, who confessed to the crime on Thursday. The arrested man is believed to have placed her body in the suitcase and subsequently used her bank card to withdraw money.
