Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on the night of 31 July-1 August, Ukraine's Air Force managed to intercept only one out of 27 Russian ballistic missiles due to a shortage of Patriot interceptors and called on partners to provide additional air defence capabilities.

The warning comes as Kyiv pushes its allies for additional Patriot interceptor missiles, which Ukraine says are crucial to countering a surge in Russian ballistic missile attacks.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned Ukraine has run out of interceptor missiles for its US Patriot air defence systems.
