When will Bhogapuram Airport start flights?

The Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport in Bhogapuram will commence commercial flights on August 17. This new facility near Visakhapatnam has an initial annual passenger capacity of six million people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the airport, which was completed ahead of schedule. The airport is developed on 2,200 acres under a Public-Private Partnership model. GMR group expects the airport to become a major gateway for India's eastern corridor.
