The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has added foreign-produced power inverters and advanced robotic devices to its list of equipment and services that have been determined to pose an unacceptable risk to US national security or the security of US persons, the FCC’s so-called Covered List.

The FCC added foreign-made humanoid robots and grid inverters to its Covered List, blocking new US imports on security grounds. The real target is China.
