Russia launches overnight ballistic missile attack on Ukraine, killing 13

Russia launched a wave of overnight air strikes across Ukraine on Thursday, killing at least 13 people, including one in Kyiv. In the attacks that reached as far as the western city of Lviv, prompted neighbouring Poland to scramble fighter jets to secure its airspace.
