RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held separate telephone calls on Tuesday with his counterparts from Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain to discuss regional developments and efforts to de-escalate tensions. During the calls, the ministers reaffirmed the importance of protecting freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab El-Mandab Strait and stressed the need to mitigate the security and economic repercussions of the ongoing regional crisis, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
