Hawks swoop on Home Affairs official over alleged birth certificate bribery scheme

Two suspects, including a Home Affairs official, have been arrested after the Hawks uncovered an alleged scheme to fraudulently issue late birth certificates for two children, reportedly to secure school admission. The pair are expected to appear in the Malamulele Magistrate's Court on charges of fraud and corruption, while police continue searching for a third suspect.
