The Bulgarian passport ranks 11th worldwide in terms of travel freedom, according to the latest Henley Passport Index, placing it just one position behind the United States passport. The ranking shows that Bulgarian citizens can travel visa-free to 178 countries, only two fewer than holders of US passports.
