Amnesty International Demands Rescue Of Kidnapped Borno Children, Says Education Shouldn't Cost Anyone's Life

Global human rights organisation, the Amnesty International, has called on the Nigerian government to urgently secure the release of 36 school children who remain in captivity following an attack on a secondary school in Borno State, insisting that "no child should have to choose between their education and their life." The human rights organisation made the call on Saturday while expressing concern over the continued captivity of the students, who were abducted during an attack on Government Day Secondary School, Lassa, in Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.
