Oracle has won a US Department of War contract worth up to $6.99bn to consolidate the military’s Oracle licences, on a $3.31bn five-year base.

Oracle will supply on-premises software to the U.S. Department of Defense.

The Enterprise Software Agreement, negotiated by the Department of the Navy, is between the Pentagon and Oracle for its on-premises compute usage.
