Nigerian Army Clears Terror Suspect 'Houdairi', Says Investigation Found No Terrorist Links

The Nigerian military has reversed its earlier position on a man previously reported as a terror suspect, saying investigations found no evidence linking him to any terrorist group. In a statement issued on Thursday by the Headquarters Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI, the military said the individual, identified as Aboubakar Muhammad Zein-Nur, also known as Houdairi, was taken into custody by troops of the 68 Battalion during an exploitation operation following the attack on Cross Kauwa.
