Two women say they were treated like criminals after warning others about ICE

The incident occurred on November 17, 2025, when the women honked their car horn and blew a whistle to alert others to the presence of federal agents conducting "Operation Charlotte's Web." Federal agents pursued the women, boxed in their car, and eventually smashed their car window with a rifle after they pulled into a dead-end street. Reisini and Roos were zip-tied, taken to an FBI building for four hours, and charged with assaulting federal agents, though these charges were later dropped in March. Their lawsuit alleges false imprisonment, false arrest, assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, malicious prosecution, negligence, and violations of their First and Fourth Amendment rights.
