Nurses Forum Demands Arrest Of Patient’s Relative Seen Assaulting Chief Nursing Officer At Oyo Hospital, Threatens Industrial Action

The Elegant Nurses Forum (ENF) has condemned the alleged assault of a Chief Nursing Officer at the State Hospital, Adeoyo, Ibadan, Oyo State, calling for the immediate arrest and prosecution of the patient’s relative accused of attacking the nurse. The group described the incident as “shameful, barbaric and inhumane,” saying a viral video of the attack showed the nurse being physically assaulted, humiliated and dehumanised while the alleged attacker recorded the incident.
