Responsible AI Is Becoming a Growth Strategy

As artificial intelligence becomes embedded in products, services, and decision making, trust is emerging as a critical competitive advantage. Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR) must evolve from a compliance exercise into a strategic capability that helps companies balance business performance with customer well-being. The CDR Calculus provides a framework for evaluating AI decisions, while a three-stage playbook shows leaders how to identify every AI system in use, build governance and oversight into AI from the design stage, and make responsible AI practices visible to customers and regulators. Companies that proactively govern AI can reduce risk, strengthen customer loyalty, influence emerging standards, and differentiate themselves in increasingly competitive markets where trust, rather than technology alone, will determine long-term success.
