The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has denied reports suggesting that the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Kemi Nandap, is under investigation over an alleged visa racketeering scheme involving immigration officers. In a statement issued on Monday by the EFCC Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, the anti-graft agency claimed the reports are misleading and stated that Nandap has no connection whatsoever with its ongoing investigations.
