IMD warns of heavy rainfall in north Bengal, predicting landslides and flash floods due to the active southwest monsoon.

The weather office said though a low-pressure area over Gangetic West Bengal had gradually weakened, the conditions were expected to trigger intense rainfall in north Bengal.

Heavy to extremely heavy rainfall has been forecast over Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and several northeastern states over the coming days. | India News
