This assault followed Ukrainian drone strikes that killed at least nine people and injured 60 at two major warehouses belonging to the Russian online retailer Wildberries. The targeted Wildberries facilities were located in Kotovsk, Tambov region, and Elektrostal, situated near Moscow. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that these strikes aimed at "significant logistical facilities," alleging that Wildberries supplied equipment to the Russian military.
