Rep. Ralph Norman of South Carolina announced on Saturday he will run to replace Lindsey Graham in the Senate.

The late Lindsey Graham was running for reelection to serve a fifth term in the senate, and he won his Republican primary last month.

Gov. Henry McMaster (R-SC) will appoint a temporary replacement to fill the vacant seat until Jan. 3, 2027.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) and Rep. Russell Fry (R-SC) are considering entering the race for the high chamber.

Fry is the latest candidate to announce his bid for the open South Carolina seat in November.
