Detained Activist Aghogho Demands Court Records, Laments Delay In Transfer Request Could Keep Him In Prison Till October

The detained child rights activist, Ighorhiohwunu Aghogho, has filed a Freedom of Information (FOI) request seeking access to official records relating to the handling of his pending application to transfer his criminal case from the Federal High Court in Warri, Delta State, to another judicial division. The application, dated July 17, 2026, was submitted to the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court by Aghogho's lawyer, Andrew N. Elekeokwuri.
