Citizens Democratic Alliance Accuses INEC Of Defying Court Order On Party Registration

The Citizens Democratic Alliance (CDA) has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of failing to comply with a Federal High Court judgment directing the electoral body to register the party and issue it a Certificate of Registration. The party said the court had ordered INEC to issue its Certificate of Registration within seven days after being served with the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the judgment but alleged that the commission had failed to obey the order despite the expiration of the deadline.
