Iran adds two years to Briton’s jail term, family says

LONDON: A British man held by Iran for alleged spying has had two more years added to his 10-year jail term for talking to the media, his son said Wednesday. Craig Foreman and his wife Lindsay were detained while traveling in Iran during a round-the-world motorbike trip at the start of 2025. They were sentenced in February to 10 years in prison on espionage charges that they deny. “We have received extremely concerning reports that Craig has been sentenced to a further two years in prison,” their son Joe Bennett said.
