Jean Carroll after a United States federal court ordered the release of funds following the conclusion of his appeal in a civil case that found him liable for sexual abuse and defamation. A court filing made public on Tuesday showed that Carroll received the payment, which covered the original $5million damages awarded by a federal jury in May 2023, along with post-judgment interest that accumulated over the past three years.
