Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, the pilot who landed an airliner in the Hudson River in 2009, announced that he's been diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, who famously landed a plane on the Hudson River in New York City in 2009, has revealed an Alzheimer's disease diagnosis.

The retired pilot said he hopes that by sharing the news of his diagnosis, “other families living in the shadows with this disease will feel they too can step forward.”
