The pilot returned to Thessaloniki airport, where Mr Karović was immediately hospitalised with severe injuries, including burns and a badly injured hand, leaving him unable to speak or recall the event. Ryanair confirmed the flight returned to Thessaloniki after a passenger window dislodged inflight, stating one passenger received medical assistance and a replacement aircraft was arranged for the remaining passengers.
