The former Countdown presenter explained in a video that she was taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary by ambulance, where staff reportedly played “The Final Countdown” during her journey. After being discharged, Vorderman experienced “massive vomiting, all the bad signs”, prompting a return to hospital for scans. She said she suffered from persistent dizziness, which was treated using the Epley technique. According to the NHS, it is used to treat Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).Vorderman added: “After the first session, I would say 95% of it went. I’ve had three sessions with her and I’m now discharged.
