Several Assembly constituencies in Bengaluru have emerged as the slowest-performing segments in the distribution of enumeration forms under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. On the contrary, many constituencies in north and central Karnataka have achieved near-complete coverage, according to data released by the Election Commission.

Bengaluru's civic polls face delays as only 33% enumeration forms are distributed, raising concerns over timely elections.

The Opposition leaders also raised concerns about the pace at which the exercise is being conducted.
