The Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 of the electoral rolls is progressing rapidly in Mysuru district, with enumeration forms distributed to 23,49,006 voters as of July 8, covering 83.90% of the district’s 27,99,693 electorate.According to official data, the district has 2,915 polling stations. Enumeration form distribution has been completed in 927 polling stations (31.80%), while another 726 polling stations (24.90%) have achieved over 90% coverage.So far, 11,419 voters have submitted their enumeration forms online, while 1,13,643 of the distributed forms have already been digitised.Among the Assembly constituencies, Periyapatna has recorded the highest coverage with 1,94,998 forms distributed out of 1,99,706 electors. It is followed by Hunsur (2,46,013 of 2,53,248), H.D. Kote (2,21,159 of 2,34,521), Varuna (2,26,474 of 2,42,363), Nanjangud (2,09,745 of 2,23,279), Krishnarajanagar (1,99,931 of 2,20,922), T. Narasipur (1,90,566 of 2,12,752), Chamundeshwari (2,95,876 of 3,57,327), Narasimharaja (2,14,468 of 3,27,898), Chamaraja (1,76,266 of 2,64,045) and Krishnaraja (1,73,510 of 2,63,632).Digitisation of the collected forms is also progressing steadily, with Periyapatna (16,760), Hunsur (16,288), H.D. Kote (16,258) and Varuna (13,964) reporting the highest number of computerised forms.During the ongoing door-to-door verification, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) identified 4,327 electors under the ASDDO category, including 2,873 absent voters, 1,033 permanently shifted voters, 362 deceased voters, 51 cases of duplicate registration and eight other discrepancies, according to a press release.
