Michigan has recorded more than 2,600 cases of cyclosporiasis, the diarrhea-causing parasitic illness, as of Monday, a jump of more than 1,000 cases from Friday.

Michigan has reported over 1,200 cases of the parasitic illness that causes diarrhea.

Michigan — the state with the highest infection count — recorded 1,251 total cases of Cyclosporiasis on Thursday, a 26% jump from the previous day.
