Political activist Anele Mda appeals for donations as she battles life-threatening illness

Political activist, broadcaster and entrepreneur Anele Mda has appealed for public support after revealing she is battling liver failure and other serious medical complications. Mda says she urgently needs R195 000 for life-saving surgery after spending hundreds of thousands of rand on treatment that was only partially covered by her medical aid.
