The United States has approved Germany’s purchase of American long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced, ending earlier uncertainty over whether the planned deployment of the weapons would move forward. Speaking to lawmakers in the Bundestag, Merz said the agreement was reached with Washington on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Ankara.
