The FBI has unsealed three major federal indictments under Operation Hard Ball, a multinational crackdown targeting alleged transnational organised crime networks. Among those named is Punjab Police SHO Gurinderjit Singh Nagra, who faces allegations in a $400,000 extortion case. The operation also names alleged organised crime figures including Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria and Ravinder Singh Dhanda. Separately, US prosecutors have charged Bishnoi and Goldy Brar in connection with the 2023 killing of Khalistan separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada.
