US President Donald Trump has said the deal with Iran “is over” following renewed strikes in recent hours. Speaking at the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, he added that negotiations with Iran could continue, saying, "As far as I'm concerned, it's just a waste of time dealing with them."

Renewed hostilities between the US and Iran have also heightened safety and security concerns around the Strait of Hormuz.
