Prince Harry will not be staying at Buckingham Palace during his UK visit this week, despite earlier reports. He reportedly did not formally accept an offer for royal accommodation by a deadline. The estranged royal's trip for charity engagements is overshadowed by security disputes and his family's absence. Harry has lived in the US since stepping down as a working royal in 2020.

It can be revealed that the King, who offered his estranged son accommodation on the royal estate, has still not had confirmation of his plans.

The 41-year-old Duke arrived today without Meghan, Archie and Lilibet, a spokesman confirmed - after taking too long to accept an offer of royal accommodation from King Charles.

The Duke of Sussex is expected to arrive in London on Monday
