The incident on Monday evening injured three people, including 58-year-old Vadym Iermolaiev, a woman, and a teenager, when a device was remotely detonated in the lobby of a luxury building. Monaco prosecutor Stephane Thibault stated that Berezovska, who disguised herself as a man and was captured on CCTV, used a car with a German licence plate to travel through several European countries, with her last official residence being in Germany. The primary target, Vadym Iermolaiev, is a wealthy Ukrainian-born Cypriot national and real estate developer who was sanctioned by Kyiv for alleged collaboration with Russia, accusations he has denied. While Mr Iermolaiev is reportedly out of danger, the injured woman remains in critical condition with both her legs amputated, and three investigative judges have been assigned to lead a judicial inquiry into attempted murder and other charges.
