Centre notifies three sets of rules under VB-G RAM G Act

New rules under the Viksit Bharat- Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act have been notified, guiding the transition from MGNREGS. These rules detail wage and unemployment allowance payments exclusively via Direct Benefit Transfer, and outline procedures for expenditures exceeding central allocations. Ongoing MGNREGS works and job cards will continue during this shift, ensuring a smooth transition to the new rural employment framework.
