Human rights activist and presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has disclosed that more than 1,158 inmates, including 37 prisoners undergoing treatment for tuberculosis, are currently being held in overcrowded cells at the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja. Sowore made the disclosure on Wednesday while recounting his experience after regaining freedom from Kuje prison following his detention over a case instituted against him by the Department of State Services (DSS).
