Inspector General's report says time is running out for the Calamity Capsule
"NASA is uncertain as to when … human-rating certification for the Starliner will be obtained."
NASA's Inspector General has released a report warning that issues with Boeing's Starliner spacecraft remain unresolved years after its last flight.
Starliner's certification may be delayed to 2027, 10 years later than Boeing's original schedule.
A new report links the problems with Boeing’s Starliner to a combination of overconfidence, unrealistic schedules and lack of insight into the vehicle.
